Users can create an account using email and password or sign in with Google, select their preferred currency, and manage their financial information through a protected personal dashboard.
The application allows users to manually record income and expense transactions with an amount, category, description, date, and optional notes. Transactions can be edited, deleted, searched, filtered by category or transaction type, and reviewed in a paginated table. Users can also view income-versus-expense charts across different time ranges, including the last 30 days, three months, monthly periods, and yearly periods.
The budgeting system enables users to create weekly or monthly spending limits for individual expense categories. BillUtilityAi automatically compares each budget with the transactions recorded during the relevant period. It displays the amount spent, the original budget limit, the remaining or exceeded amount, the percentage used, and a visual progress indicator.
The monthly AI analysis evaluates income, expenses, savings rate, spending distribution, and previous-month trends. It can return a financial health score, positive highlights, potential concerns, the highest-spending category, estimated monthly savings, and actionable recommendations.
The savings analysis examines the user’s recent income and highest-spending categories from the previous 30 days. It generates personalised saving suggestions with category-specific advice and estimated saving opportunities. Generated analyses are stored in the database so that users can review their previous AI reports from the Insights page.
