Overspill ownership
Unless a page expressly says otherwise, Overspill owns or controls the original services, software, service names, source code, product interfaces, documentation, brand assets, research, and other original material that it creates and publishes under the Overspill name. Copyright and related rights may arise automatically in original software, web content, writing, graphics, photographs, recordings, and published layouts.
Images and media
Overspill owns or controls the rights in photographs, illustrations, graphics, video, audio, animation, screenshots, and other media that it creates; commissions under terms that assign or license the relevant rights; acquires; or receives through a written assignment or licence. Unless an express licence or applicable law permits otherwise, protected Overspill media may not be copied, republished, sold, sublicensed, materially altered, used in advertising, or used to imply endorsement without written permission.
Credited, linked, embedded, licensed, open-source, public-domain, contributed, or other third-party media remains subject to its owner's rights, attribution requirements, and licence terms. Displaying third-party material does not mean that Overspill owns it or that a visitor receives permission to reuse it.
Third-party rights
Third-party libraries, platforms, APIs, datasets, trademarks, open-source components, fonts, embeds, advertising services, and contributed materials remain subject to their own licences, policies, and owners. Nothing on this site transfers those rights to a visitor.
Analytics and advertising scope
Blog view totals are first-party publication metrics and are not guarantees of readership quality, identity, reach, or commercial performance. Advertising placeholders are invitations to contact Overspill and are not endorsements. When third-party advertising is enabled, the provider's terms, policies, disclosures, consent requirements, and user controls also apply.
Service-specific documents
A service may have separate commercial terms, privacy information, licences, acceptable-use rules, or data-processing terms because its users, data flows, and functionality differ. A clearly identified service-specific document takes priority for that service. A signed proposal, order form, statement of work, licence, or data-processing agreement takes priority over the public website where it expressly says so.
Legal status and scope
This website provides general public information. It does not create a partnership, agency, fiduciary relationship, employment relationship, licence, advertising commitment, or binding service commitment merely because someone visits a page, sends an enquiry, clicks a promotion, or reads a roadmap. Binding obligations arise only through an applicable written agreement.

Use the contact page for legal, privacy, accessibility, advertising, licensing, attribution, or permission requests. Do not send confidential information until an appropriate written arrangement is in place.
