Building FactLens.pro came from a simple frustration: verifying claims during research or software development usually involves opening dozens of browser tabs, manually cross-referencing sources, or writing custom web scrapers from scratch. I wanted a way to make factual verification automated, structured, and instantly accessible to developers. To solve this, I built FactLens (factlens.pro) alongside its official open-source JavaScript and TypeScript package (factlens) on npm. The system processes claims against reliable web sources and returns clean, structured JSON outputs, making it effortless to integrate fact-checking directly into web apps, automated workflows, or backend pipelines. I designed FactLens to be lightweight, fast, and transparent so anyone can integrate source verification with just a few lines of code. Check out the attached screenshots to see the interface and API response structure in action, and feel free to test the live platform at factlens.pro or run npm i factlens in your project. I would love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or thoughts on how you might use automated verification in your own developer tools.
